Portal Trail
Just north of Moab turn left on highway279 and head down the Colorado River to where it cuts through the cliff walls known as the Portal. Trailhead parking is on the right. Climb slickrock ledges to a breathtaking overlook of Moab, the Colorado River and south up the Spanish Valley.
